<p>0.6-0.8 mm Glass Pearls </p><p>The Waterco Enviropro Glass Pearls 0.6-0.8mm Filter Media (44# Bag) has a size of only 0.6mm to 0.8mm and its narrow particle size allows in-depth filtration and extends operating cycles between backwashing. Its spherical smooth shape results in a low coefficient of friction, reducing its backwash water requirements. It can backwash with up to 20% less water than sand, saving time and water. They are manufactured from pure glass and chemically inert too. They are spherical and do not have any sharp edges, safe to handle, and safe to service. They are easy to install and enables a rapid start-up of the media filter.
